Easy perfect game:
Play an exhibition game with two controllers and defeat your opponent without them getting a hit or a walk. If the winning side is using a profile, that profile will be credited with a perfect game. This is also an easy way to earn tokens.

Achievements:
Perform the achievements below and you will unlock the corresponding Xbox Live Gamerscore points.

Robbery! (150 points): By making a wall climb catch to rob a home run.

Super Slugger (200 points): By hitting three home runs in one game with the same player under the "Pro" or higher difficulty setting.

Thief (150 points): Successfully steal five bases in one game under the "Pro" or higher difficulty setting.

Unhittable (200 points): Strikeout fifteen batters with one pitcher under the "Pro" or higher difficulty setting.

Offensive Explosion (300 points): Score twenty runs in one game under the "Pro" or higher difficulty setting.

Signing a created player cheaply:
You can edit any player and their abilities, and just not the way they look. Sign a minor leaguer that looks the way you want to the maximum term (seven years) at the lowest amount, even though they may get upset later in their career. Then, change their name, abilities, position, etc. This also works for changing other major league players. For example, you can change Joe Young on the Giants to Barry Bonds by editing everything except his appearance. By doing this, you can sign an entire team. REMEMBER: You can only re-negotiate contracts at one year to seven year contracts at about $1 million each or less, then make them "gods". REMEMBER: You can only re-negotiate contracts at one year; when you are finding a player to make your own, look for one year contracts.

First overall pick:
Start a franchise with a bad team (Pirates, Devil Rays, etc.). Trade any player that has a 81+ rating. Then, simulate the season. Hope to finish in last place. After all the playoffs and awards you will probably get the first to fifth picks in the draft.
