Finish the game under normal or hard difficulties. Then, hold L when picking the "New Game" option at the opening menu to wear the Ninja Of The Future costume.

After finishing the game under very hard difficulty you will unlock Ryu's Fiend costume. It is the same blue skin obtained in Chapter 14 after defeating Doku for the second time.

Finish the game under normal difficulty. Then, hold L when picking the "New Game" option at the opening menu to wear the Ninja Of The Future costume. A new sword called the Plasma Saber (which resembles a lightsaber from Star Wars) will take the place of the Dragon Sword.

Finish the game under very hard difficulty.

Press Start, A, Start to advance past an FMV sequence. REMEMBER: This does not work all of the time.

Finish the game under normal or hard difficulties to unlock all FMV sequences.

Finish the game under normal or hard difficulties to unlock the very hard difficulty.

Give 50 Scarabs to Muramasa. This does not have to be done in a single game play-through. You can continue from a completed game save and collect the Scarabs that were originally missed until you have the required 50 Scarabs. After giving them to Muramasa, you will get the Ninja Gaiden disc to be used at the arcade machine at Han's Bar's first floor.

Get a "Master Ninja" rank in all levels under normal difficulty.
