On the first round of the cats mission 3, or the stone guardian boss, there are lots of time crystals. Get a sweeper that can hold a lot of time controls. It also helps if you can use all the time controls. Go to the level and run around collecting all the time crystals. Once you fill all of your slots keep collecting them for ten gold a piece. You can do this as long as you want to.
