Autumn Pagoda course:
Get enough stars to reach the Beginner rank in challenge mode.

Golden Desert course:
Get enough stars to reach the Senior rank in challenge mode.

Dino Park course:
Get enough stars to reach Silver rank in challenge mode.

Olive Coast course:
Get enough stars to reach the Mid-Rank rank in challenge mode.

Defeat Alia when you reach the Beginner level in a challenge mode versus match.

Manual replay option:

Easy challenge mode:
Keep losing matches intentionally in challenge mode to unlock an easy difficulty setting in the challenge mode options.

Extra loyalty level:
Get a Super Win by winning a called game by -3 to get five instead of four loyalty levels.

Easy loyalty points:
Choose match play in challenge mode. Press Select + Start to give up on your turn. Do this for three matches and intentionally lose. You will still get loyalty points. Repeat this to get the maximum amount of loyalty for the character.

Taunt opponent:
Press any button during your opponent's turn in match play mode.

Hint: Stop ball faster or make it roll farther:
Repeatedly press Down to stop the ball faster or Up to make it go faster.

Medals:
After finishing the indicated task you will unlock the corresponding medal in the Medal Gallery.

Medal 1: Reach "HSG Star" rank.
Medal 2: Reach "Platinum" rank in challenge mode.
Medal 3: Unlock all characters.
Medal 4: Get maximum Loyalty Hearts with all characters.
Medal 5: Complete the Putting challenge and Challenge mode.
Medal 6: Get a hole-in-one.
Medal 7: Get a Double Eagle on a par 5 course.
Medal 8: Sink the ball by hitting the pin.
Medal 9: Sink the ball with Super Topspin.
Medal 10: Sink the ball with Super Backspin.
Medal 11: Sink the ball with a Spiral Ball.
Medal 12: Sink the ball with a 60 yard putt.
