Cheat mode:
Pause in any game under their easier difficulty setting, then press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, L, R. All weapons and power-ups will be unlocked. In the Japanese version of the game, press Up(2), Down(2), Left, Right, Left, Right, X, Circle.

Gradius 3: Cube Attack:
Survive until level 9.

Gradius 3: Extra Mode:
Survive until level 9.

Gradius 3: Extra Edit:
Finish the game. Select Extra Mode to access more weapons.

Gradius 3: Gradius level:
Intentionally get shot by the Final Boss.

Gradius 3: Salamander level:
Intentionally get shot by the Final Boss.

Gradius 3: Stage Select:
Finish the game.

Gradius 4: Boss Rush mode:
Finish the game.

Gradius 4: Stage select:
Finish the game.

Gradius Gaiden: Stage select:
Finish the game under the normal or higher difficulty setting.
