Final Fantasy 7 Cheats

In-game reset:
While playing the game, hold L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 + Select + Start.

Easy Chocobo races:
Hold R1 + R2 while racing a Chocobo to slowly restore energy. Then rapidly push Circle to get energy back.

Chocobo preview:
After breeding or feeding a Chocobo, press L1 or R1 to turn it and be able view it in 360 degrees.

Maneuvering the Highwind:
The Highwind can be turned sideways or flown backwards without turning around. Hold Square and press the D-pad in the desired direction while flying.

Good enemy skills:
These are some of the best enemy skills in the game. Shadow flare, on the third disc when u kill ultima weapon, have the person w/t enemy skill on and kill them. And Magic breath, in the second disc after the snowboard section, go to the caves and u will run into a monster that looks like the materia keeper. just sit tight for a while and he will use it.

Instead of pressing Square + D-pad to fly the Highwind, press Circle to go forward. Press R1 or L1 to turn sharper.

To fly crooked, hold R1 + Left or L1 + Right while moving at full speed forward.

Sharp turns in vehicles:
Hold L1 or R1 and Left or Right to turn sharply while in vehicles.

Sense without wasting a turn:
Press Select to display a window above the time bars, then sense the enemy. From this point on whenever you attack that enemy while selecting, look in that window to see its current HP and name. REMEMBER: This only works during the current battle.

Play Cosmo Canyon song:
You can play the Cosmo Canyon song on your own by going to Tifa's house in Nibelheim. Play Her Ghost In The Fog song:
Going to Tifa's house in Nibelheim and play the following for Her Ghost In The Fog (by Cradle Of Filth): R1 + Square(7), R1 + Triangle(7), R1 + X, Circle, R1 + Square(7), R1 + Triangle(7), R1 + X, R1 + Circle.

Gold Saucer FMV:
When flying to Gold Saucer for the first time, the propellers are facing the front, in the direction that it moves. In the FMV sequence, they are on the back, propelling it.

Final ending sequence:
Wait until all the credits have completed to watch the final part of the ending sequence, which shows what happens 500 years later.

Parachute tricks:
When the game shows Cloud and the others parachuting from above, press the D-pad to do tricks with Cloud.

Chocobo racing music:
When you race or bet on a Chocobo, the music during the race is the Chocobo music from Final Fantasy Adventure on the Game Boy. The victory music at the end of a race is the ending battle music from Final Fantasy Legend 2 for the Game Boy.
