Press Left or Right while in the lowrider on a Dogg Patrol special mission to change the ride height.

When entering your name on the license plate when starting a new game file, hold L1 + R1 and tap the D-pad Left or Right to input symbols.

When entering a name on a license plate, hold L1 + R1, and press Left Analog-stick Up or Left Analog-stick Down to change the color of the strip below the plate. The color you leave it on when you enter the name is the color of your car.

The following maneuvers only work after they have been unlocked.

Peel out: Hold X + Square, then release Square.
Rapid stop: Press Left, Right, or Down + Square(2), then hold Square.
P.I.T. maneuver: Ram the rear corner of the car.
Downshift: Press Down + X(2).
90 degree turn: Press Left or Right + X + Circle.
Back switchblade: Press Left or Right + Circle(2).
Forward switchblade: Press Left or Right + Circle(2).
Two wheels: Press Left, Right, Left, X(2).
Nitro boost: Press Up + X(3).

When trying to solve a serious crime (robbery, hostages, or anything with guns), simply run over your victim. Or if they are in a car run their car into a buiding and/or turn it sideways which will force the criminal out of the car.

While in car, pause the game and press down(3), x. at the city map screen. when you hit other cars they will - literally - go flying!. On the opposite end of things press up(3), x to have soft crashes.

Learn where the impound garages are located. When you get low on health, just visit the garage. You will not only get a fresh car, your health will be full again.

To get the S.W.A.T. team on you, kill a number of civilians (about thirty). The S.W.A.T. team will come after you in black vans.

In the game, there is a sign that reads "True Crime: Streets Of L.A.: The Movie, Fall 2005".

Running attacks: Push Run + Square, X, Triangle.
Ground attacks: Push Square, X, or Triangle.
Combo tiger Sweep: Push Square, Triangle, Square (when opponent is stunned).
Combo Tiger Claw: Push X, Square, Triangle (when opponent is stunned).
Combo Leaping Tiger: Push Triangle, X, Square (when opponent is stunned).
Combo Dragon Kick: Push Square, Triangle, Square, Triangle (when opponent is stunned).
Combo Dragon Fist: Push X, Square, Triangle, X (when opponent is stunned).
Combo Flying Dragon: Push Triangle, X, Square, Triangle (when opponent is stunned).
Monkey Paw: Push Square(2), X (when opponent is stunned).
Whirlwind Throw Grapple: Push Circle, X, Triangle.
Arm Buster Grapple: Push Circle, X, Square.
Dirty Boxer Grapple: Push Circle, Square, X.
Tiger Claw Uppercut: Push Square, X, Triangle (when opponent is stunned).
Whirlwind Throw: Push Circle, Square, Triangle (when opponent is stunned).
Arm Breaker Throw: Push Circle, Square, X (when opponent is stunned).
