Fire backwards
Hold R2 then hold Down while racing and fire. Push Up to fire bouncing bombs forward.
Drive faster
Your car will go faster if you drive in reverse. At the start of each race, quickly turn around and start driving in reverse. You will be behind, but can quickly catch up and win.
