Unlimited Power:
When the necessary 10 of the Grog Bombs/Throwing Axes are compiled, trigger the beginning of the Power-Up, followed immediately by pressing Down to switch to the other character. Then, switch back and that player will be powered-up but they will have not spent their stockpile. This means that it is possible to keep powering-up, making many battles far easier than they should be.

Getting easy money:
By going to any of the loan sharks and asking for any amount of money. You can go to the box in his office and drop your money in it. Then, go up to him again and ask for more money. Continue to do this until you have the desired amount. Even though he says that he has ways of getting his money back, he never comes after you

Final Battle with the Black Pearl:
After your conversation with Clements and Danielle on the shore near the end of the game you will be battled with 'Black Pearl'. You will have an ability that is needed to use for fighting 'Black Pearl'. Without this ability, you won't hurt the 'Black Pearl'. This ship is so fast and the battle will take a long time. After you have done decent damage to 'Black Pearl', you will have other ability which is shaped like a crystal. Use it and cut scene will become visible.

Making money with trade:
Certain items can be bought in one town and sold in another for a gain. For instance you can buy a unit of cinnamon for 7 units of gold in Conceicao and sell it for 13 units of gold in Douwesen or 20 units of gold in Redmond.
