Mr. 2 Bon Clay:
First, unlock characters one through fourteen. Then, use Sanji in story mode at any difficulty level. Press L1 and press X(2), Circle, X, Left, X, Circle, Square, X, Circle, Triangle, Circle, X, R1(2), Left during the ending credits.

Mr. 0 Crocodile:
First, unlock characters one through fifteen. Then, select Ms. Sunday in story mode at any difficulty level. Hold L1 and press Down, X, Left, Down, Triangle, X, Circle, Square, Up, Circle, R1, Left, Triangle, Right, Square, R1 during the ending credits.

Chopper's third costume:
Hold L1 or L2, then press Triangle, Left, Right, X, Up, X, Down at the "Press Start" screen. In the Japanese version, hold L1 or L2, then press Left, Right, X, Square, X, Triangle at the "Press Start" screen.

Luffy's third costume:
Hold L1 or L2, then press Up, X, Up, X, Square, X(2) at the "Press Start" screen. In the Japanese version, hold L1 or L2, then press Up(2), X, Square, X(2) at the "Press Start" screen.

Nami's third costume:
Hold L1 or L2, then press Left, X, Left, X, Square, X, Triangle at the "Press Start" screen. In the Japanese version, hold L1 or L2, then press Left(2), X, Square, X, Triangle at the "Press Start" screen.

Robin's third costume:
In the Japanese version, hold L1 or L2, then press Down, Right, X, Square, X(2) at the "Press Start" screen.

Sanji's third costume:
Hold L1 or L2, then press Up, X, Down, X, Square, X, Circle at the "Press Start" screen. In the Japanese version, hold L1 or L2, then press Up, Down, X, Square, X, Circle at the "Press Start" screen.

Usopp's third costume:
Hold L1 or L2, then press Right, X, Right, X, Square, X, Triangle at the "Press Start" screen. In the Japanese version, hold L1 or L2, then press Right(2), X, Square, X, Triangle at the "Press Start" screen.

Zoro's third costume:
Hold L1 or L2, then press Down, X, Down, X, Square, X, Triangle at the "Press Start" screen. In the Japanese version, hold L1 or L2, then press Down(2), X, Square, X, Triangle at the "Press Start" screen.

Chopper's fourth costume:
Hold R1, then press Left, X, Right, Circle, Triangle, Left, Right, Square at the "Press Start" screen.

Luffy's fourth costume:
Hold R1, then press Up, Circle, Up, Circle, Square, X(2), Up at the "Press Start" screen.

Nami's fourth costume:
Hold R1, then press Left, Circle, Left, Circle, Triangle(2), Square, Down at the "Press Start" screen.

Sanji's fourth costume:
Hold R1, then press Up, Circle, Down, Circle, Triangle, Square, Triangle, Circle at the "Press Start" screen.

Usopp's fourth costume:
Hold R1, then press Right, Circle, Right, Circle, X, Triangle, Square, Circle at the "Press Start" screen.

Zolo's fourth costume:
Hold R1, then press Down, Circle, Down, Circle, Square, X(2), Triangle at the "Press Start" screen.

Aokiji:
REMEMBER: This character is only available in the Japanese version. Clear event battle with Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Buggy, Kuro, Krieg, Arlong, Smoker, Bon Clay, Crocodile, and Foxy. Then, play event battle again with Luffy. In the final stage you will battle Aokiji. To unlock Aokiji you must use your level 2 special.

Arlong:
Clear event battle with Nami.

Bon Clay:
In the Japanese version, clear event battle with Chopper.

Buggy:
Clear event battle with Zoro.

Choppy:
Unlock Ms. Sunday, then clear event battle or story mode with Luffy, Nami or Sanji under hard difficulty setting.

Crocodile:
First, unlock characters one through fifteen. Then, clear story mode under all four difficulty settings with all those characters. Next, complete story mode as Luffy under the very hard difficulty setting. REMEMBER: You also need to have at least fifty hours of accumulated game play at this time. When facing Crocodile, By beating him with a Secret attack you will unlock him in story mode. After finishing story mode as Crocodile you will unlock him in all other modes. In the Japanese version, clear event battle with Robin.

Don Crick:
Clear event battle with Sanji under the normal difficulty setting.

Enel:
REMEMBER: This character is only available in the Japanese version. After clearing event battle with Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, and Robin, complete their move list in training mode. A picture should flash by of Enel challenging you. Then, play a regular tournament at Grand Tours (tournament mode). One of the character will be replaced with Enel. Defeat and win the tournament.

Foxy:
REMEMBER: This character is only available in the Japanese version. Clear event battle with Chopper twice.

Krieg:
Clear event battle with Sanji.

Kuro:
Clear event battle with Usopp.

Hawk-eyes Mihawk:
Unlock Red-haired Shanks, then complete story mode as Roronoa Zolo under very hard difficulty. Use a secret attack to By beating Hawk-eyes Mihawk you will unlock him.

In the Japanese version, clear event battle with Zoro under the very hard difficulty setting after Shanks has been unlocked unlocked. Defeat mihawk with a level 2 special after getting hit with Mihawk's level 2 special to unlock him.

Red-haired Shanks:
Unlock Tony Tony Chopper, the complete story mode as Luffy under very hard difficulty.

In the Japanese version, clear event battle with Luffy under the very hard difficulty setting after unlocking Aokiji and Enel.

Smoker:
Clear event battle with Luffy.

Tony Tony Chopper:
Unlock Ms. Sunday, then complete story mode under the hard or greater difficulty setting as Monkey D. Luffy.

Very hard mode:
Clear hard mode in event battle with more than ten characters.

Alternate title screen:
Unlock all the characters to get a new title screen that features everyone.

Alternate costumes for The Straw Hats:
After unlocking Shanks and Mihawk, complete the entire move set for all The Straw Hat Pirates in training mode to unlock a third costume for them inspired by the Color Walk books.

After unlocking the third Straw Hat costumes, complete Grand Battle thirty times or Event Battle six times, with each of the Straw Hat crew to unlock a fourth alternate costume.

Alabasta stage:
Finish story mode as Crocodile.

Marine HQ stage:
After unlocking everyone, complete their move lists in training mode. After doing so, destroy all the pillars in the stage. Do this with every character to unlock the stage.

Maxim stage:
Clear event battle with Enel.

Davy Back Fight mini-game unlockables:
By winning the Davy Back Fight min-game the indicated amount of times to unlock the corresponding bonus.

Clear Event battle under very hard difficulty to view the stats for your battle.

Ending movies:
Clear Event battle to unlock the ending movie at the "Theater" menu.

Gallery:
Clear Event battle to unlock that character's images in the gallery.

Voice collection:
Clear Event battle to unlock that character's voice collection at the "Treasures" menu.

BMG select:
Clear Event Mode with Mihawk under hard difficulty setting to unlock the "BMG Select" at the "Treasures" menu.

Mr. 2 Bon Clay: Secret attacks:
Instead of holding L1 and pressing X + Square to use a random clone-clone attack, try the following moves to transform instead. By doing this, you can use strategy instead of luck for which character you will transform into.

Mr. 7: While holding L1, press X(4), Square.
Mr. 8: While holding L1, press X(3), Square.
Mr. 9: While holding L1, press X(2), Square.

Extra moves:
To get extra attack add-ons for Luffy's Gum Gum Scythe attack, when you use this attack you must have over four fruits. When you attack, after your opponent hits the wall press Circle and you will hit your opponent in the air. Then, keep pressing Circle. You will do another add-on. You will hit them in the air. Then, keep pressing Circle. For the final attack add-on, you will hit them up again. Luffy will count down to "1" then he will yell and twist like a spiral, bounce up, and smash your opponent through the roof of the building. If you KO your opponent while doing this trick you will see the building fall around Luffy and he will say, " I'm gonna be King of the Pirates!" and you will win. REMEMBER: This trick works well with over four fruits and if your opponent health is down slightly past halfway.

Special moves:
Every character has special moves. For the first, press X + Square. For the second, hold Up and press X + Square.
