Madden 2002 Cheats

Houston Texans:)
In franchise mode after the first season, if you have the expansion draft to get  the Houston Texans.

Have unlimited creation points:)
Go to "Edit Player" in the roster screen  after creating a player . Press Up or Down to select the player you are willing to edit. Press Right to get to the speed category. Push X, then Push X again.

Perfect team:)
During the season mode, go to rosters, and choose "Edit Player". Choose any player and go to "Attributes" Move everything to 99 for every player.

Dance going into the endzone:)
Push L1, L2, R1, or R2 while sprinting to the endzone and your player should dance.

Have better catches:)
If you want a better catching percentage, when the player puts his hands in the air (at the last second and most of the time misses),  push Catch a second or a half a second before you reach the target of the ball, or before the ball reaches the receiver. You will get a better catches, including many fancy catches.

Get easy sacks:)
When choosing a play on defense, turn to the 3-4 then push X. Go to the play where the three right-most linebackers are blitzing (press Down(3), Circle) then bring your left-most linebacker up. You will now have seven men blitzing for easier sacks.

Do a real draft:)
This trick requires NCAA Football 2002. Simulate a season in NCAA Football 2002. When the game tells you who is going to the draft, save that draft class. After that, simulate a season in Madden 2002. At the end of the season, after the Pro Bowl, the game asks "Advance to off season?". Select the "Import A Draft Class" option and the real people will be in the draft. You can do this as many times as desired.
