When you have an a-license, you can go to special conditions. Go to the Costa Amalfi Track. Complete two races of 2 short laps each. It's the same track, but the second one is costa amalfi reverse. You win $5000 per race plus, you win a Toyota RSC rally raid car. You can sell this car for $265.000 . You get the car over and over again. Each time you win the rally, the car is yours.

Win Money and a Nice Car:
Buy the chaparral 2J and pour money into it. it should have about 1100 HP. then go to endurance and select the 24 hour N僡burgring race and enter the chaparral go to the race monitor screen and change the view speed to x3. when you make a pit stop (which it does automatically) you have to put it on the race monitor screen. if you win you collect 1,200,000 credits and a polyphony digital race car.

Blinding Speed:
If you completed more than half of the game go to arcade mode, select Circuit de la Sarthe II, pick the Jaguar XJR-9 race car with medium tires. Before the race go to quick tune up, put horsepower at its max, weight at its lowest, and top speed at its max. You will go over 240 mph on the straight if you do this.

Easy Money:
First get the B-spec license, then buy an average car. Do Sunday Cup a few times and buy a new Mazda RX8. Buy a turbo upgrade, then enter the RX8 cup B-spec. Keep the car and use it to win again, then sell it for $110,000 buy turbo. Enter the Japan Championship (not the GT one) and win it on B-spec. You'll get a car worth $300,000. Buy parts and then enter the tuning car championship. Win on B-spec and sell the car you win for more than $400,000. Repeat and you'll have lots of money.

Better Grip:
Use softer tires on the front weels because it will give you better turning especially at high speeds. The perfect tire setup is when the front and back tires turn red at the same time, meaning they both gave their maximum grip for the longest amount of time.

Win a Car:
To win a superb car that you cannot find anywhere, unlock the Endurance race category, then take your pumped-up Cadillac Cien '02 (mine's at 1023HP) and enter the Nurburgring 24hr. race. Start anytime, preferrably 12:00P and enter in B-spec, after equipping with sport or racing hard. Let run and sleep. The next day, at 12:00P, you will win, skip the replay, and win your Cr.1,200,000. Exit. You will win an excellent car, the Formula Gran Turismo, belonging to the game company itself, Polyphony something.

Don't simply accelerate and brake at the proper time, if you want the silver and gold trophies you need to turn sharply to the left at the last second to stop quicker.

If you change your oil before driving a new car you gain horsepower. This also works on GT3.

To get more money, build up your car and then beat the Capri race in the Special Conditions section. By doing this you will win a Toyota rally car worth $265,000. Keep racing the race over again and win the car alot. It is the second race in the Special Conditions section.

Way to get quick money and get off to a fast start in Gran Turismo 4. When you start off transfer your licenses and 100,000 credits from your GT3 game over to your new GT4 game. After your done with that buy the 05\' Mustang and tune it as much as you can with the money you have. Then go to Special Condition Events and then go to the Capri Rally and win both races. You make 5,000 credits a race and when you win both of them you win the Toyota RSC Rally Raid Car, you can sell if for 265,624 credits. You can do this over and over.

To speed up your replays simply press down L3 and to turn off the background music simply press O.

Practice gets you in first:
On any race that you enter with an option to "Practice", it is a hidden qualifying round. It is actually a qualifying round for the race that you are entering. Do the practice until you see first place at the top of the screen. Once you see this, quit practice and start the race in either A or B-Spec modes. Your car will start in first place.

Hidden Controls:
There are a number of "hidden" controls in Gran Turismo 4 that will make navigating the game a bit easier.

On the main Gran Turismo Mode screen, press L1 to jump the cursor to Home, and press R1 to jump the cursor to the country of your vehicle's manufacturer.

When looking at your garage in Home, press START to bring up the vehicle settings screen.

When changing your vehicle's settings, press START to enlarge the Engine Power/Torque curve.

At the end of a series race, press START to skip the finish times and championship points screens.

During a pit stop, press X to to stop refueling, letting you get out of the stop faster.

With the Driving Force Pro wheel, press any combination of the LEFT, RIGHT, and DOWN buttons on the D-pad to look in that direction while driving.

Easy Wins:
In driving mission 9, as soon as the race starts stay right behind the other NSX and as it is about to brake to turn the corner ram into its back, and slam the brakes on. The opponent will slide off the road onto the sand. Just drive to the finish line!

When turning a corner make sure to break fast to increase turning speed, when u turn in a fast speed you lose control, slowing basically down helps heaps. also spinning the tires at the beginning of the race slows you down in time. If you floor it just as the countdown ends taking of will be a bit quicker!!!!!!!
