Dynasty Warriors 3 Xtreme Legends Cheats

Get alternate costumes:
After finishing the game in Musou mode with any character. Alternate costumes for all characters that belong to the same side will be unlocked. Highlight a person at the character selection screen, then press L2 or R2 to select a new color.

How to control loading screen:
By pushing Circle you can increase the wind as it flutters the level name on the loading screen before a battle. By pushing X you can decrease the wind speed.

Getting the 7 Stars Sword:
By receiving over 1000 combo points in the Combo Mania Xtreme Challenge. This sword makes combos easier.

Getting fifth weapons:
When attempting to unlock fifth weapons, you must play the game under very hard difficulty.

Hidden ending sequences:
When you highlight the PLAY option in the OPENING screen in the options menu, then press hold R1 + L1 and push X. For another ending, hold R2 + L2 and push X.

Getting the Beast Harness:
Beat the Speed Demon challenge. The Beast Harness allows you to see the last horse/elephant you rode on in the radar.

Get Opening Editor:
After finishing Musou mode with one character from the Wu, Shu, and Wei sides.  This option lets you alter the game's opening cinema, placing anyone in each of the scenes.

Getting 4th level weapons:
Start the game with hard difficulty then immediately save and quit the game. Now change the level difficulty to easy and play through the level until you are about to beat the enemy who has the 4th level weapon. Now save and change the difficulty to hard.
