Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening - Special Edition Cheats

Cheat mode:
Hold R1 + R2 + L1 + L2 + (D-pad Up/Left) + (Left Analog-stick Down/Right) at the main menu. This will unlock all bonus modes, alternate costumes, and gallery entries.

Vergil story mode:
Have a saved game file from Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening - Special Edition: Dante's Awakening on your memory card. You can also finish the game under any difficulty.

Easy difficulty:
Intentionally fail a mission under the normal difficulty three to five times. A message will appear, stating that you have unlocked the easy difficulty level.

You can also finish the game under normal difficulty.

Hard difficulty:
After finishing the game under normal difficulty.

Very hard difficulty:
After finishing the game under hard difficulty.

Bloody Palace mode:
Have a saved game file from Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening - Special Edition: Dante's Awakening on your memory card. You can also finish the game under any difficulty.

Dante Must Die Mode:
After finishing the game as Dante or Vergil under hard difficulty.

Super Dante:
After finishing the game under Dante Must Die difficulty to unlock Super Dante as a character. He has an unlimited Devil Trigger.

Super Vergil:
Finish Bloody Palace mode to unlock Super Vergil as a character. He has an unlimited Devil Trigger.

Coatless Vergil:
Complete Vergil story mode under easy difficulty.

Sparda Costume (Vergil):
After finishing the game as Vergil under hard difficulty to unlock a costume to make him appear as Sparda from the original Devil May Cry.

Alternate ending sequence:
Defeat at least 100 opponents as Dante during the ending credits.

Gallery items:
After finishing the game on Easy or higher you will unlock Gallery mode. After finishing the indicated task you will unlock the corresponding item in the Gallery.

Mundus reference:
Complete the game and get the Vergil ending, where he falls down in the pool of blood. There will be three round and red electric orbs that he says he could defeat if his father did it. This is most likely Mundus, the last Boss from the first game, because Vergil obviously loses and succumbs to Mundus' power.
