Push Start to pause your game, then press and hold L1 + L2 and push Up, Up, Down, Down. Release L1 + L2 and push Square, Square, R1, R2.

You can perform one hit kills only when enemies are not aware of the attack. Therefore it is better and easier to kill before you are seen. Every character has around six instant kills which will be different depending on the angle you attack from. Moving around when in a crouched position helps you stay invisible to your opponents for most of the game.

Even though there are items which can give you extra lives, if you fall in a pit it won't matter. Pits are extremely deadly in this Activision title and should be avoided.

When your enemies see you when on a patrol they will chase after you. By getting out of their line of sight you allude them because they will only perform a half-hearted search for you (merely seconds).

Cats are invincible and can't be stealthed killed. Their only purpose is alerting every guard in the area. Stay away from them if you can.

While playing the game, push R1 + R2 + L1 + L2 + Start + Select.

To perform a secret attack with the various characters, spin the Left Analog-stick and tap Square. REMEMBER: This may require a few attempts.

When using Tesshu, press X + Circle. You will see red smoke around his arms. When you now punch somebody, they will catch on fire.

In co-op mode, choose your player, and sneak up on an enemy using stealth. Press Square simultaneously to perform a double stealth kill.

Guards on rooftops can be really jumpy. They always walk right along the middle of the roof, so set a mine there when they're not looking and hide. As long as they don't suspect anything, it's a flawless kill.

When luring an enemy using the ceiling technique you unlock later on, you can land on them just before they pick up the rice ball. You can use the same rice ball again and again.
