NBA Live 08 Tips & Tricks

If you have the game NBA Live 08 for the PlayStation 2 you can trade Kwame Brown and Chris Mihm just for Pau Gasol.

First go to roster managment on the main menu. Get the team you wish to have and start trading when all that is done you go to the dynasty mode. You do not have to save the roster! Then, you trade players and start the dynasty then earn awards and championships.

When in a dunk competition, in "all-star weekend", start at half court, press both R1 and L1, run to the basket, but at the three point line press O, then after he gets done his gathering, or Cart-Wheel, press Circle again, and he will go between the legs twice for a perfect 50 score. Another one is the same thing except at the three point line you press Square, then O. If performed right, he will 2-foot gather and put the ball behind him, then back in front to slam it in!

When in the all-star week-end selection, click on the Slam Dunk Competition. For your first dunk you can start out way back at the half court line, hold L1 and R1 at the same time, begin running towards the hoop, AT AN ANGLE, and at the three point line press Circle, once he is done doing his cart-wheel, press Circle again, the player will attempt a "between the legs twice". As long as you time it right, and make the dunk, you will get a perfect score of a 50. For your second dunk, you start out the same thing, go back to half court, and hold L1 and R1, make your player run towards the basket, AT AN ANGLE, and press Square at the three point line, then once done his gather, press Circle. This should make your player attempt a "behind the back" slam dunk, and if timed correctly, it will get a perfect score of a 50, once again.
