Always pick "7". The game usually chooses a high number, and the worst you can lose is 5 Coins if it selects "1".
High-Lo mini-game
Choose "5" and the most you can lose is 2 Coins if the CPU chooses "10".
High-Lo mini-game
In the hi low minigame if you're about to lose money quickly go to the store or to another minigame.
Easy money
Watch the credits until they end, then wait until they finish again to get 50 Coins.
