When doing 100 man melee the easiest way to beat it is to select donkey kong as your character and use his "smash attack" mostly known as holding down the control stick and rapidly pressing b.

Technically this is a glitch found during beta testing, but the developers found it likeable and felt it could add strategy to the game so it was left in
With ANY character, you jump and immediately use an aerial evade diagonally towards the ground, if done properly, you will see your character kick up dust and slide across the ground slightly
What use is this? simple! you count as stationary when you do this so you can use smash attacks, grabs, or pick up items
This can also be used to rapidly stop/change directions while running to throw off your enemies timing
Try doing this with Luigi, his dash is the easiest to perform and Luigi also has, by far, the best wave dash of all the characters
Most people will doubt this moves usefulness until you wave dash away from their smash's at the last second and/or wave dash into them to perform a smash attack (or jigglypuff's sleep attack :D)

Press Z, Up, Up, B and your enemy will go flying.

This easy win works on any character. Set the damage option to 2.0. You have to use Roy and use the B+Up move for a super easy win.
