Unlock cheat menu:
INSTRUCTIONS
At the options menu and chose GAMEPLAY. Press and hold D-pad Left + Left Analog-stick Right and press Start. The CODES selection will now be unlocked at the options menu.

Easy dunk:
INSTRUCTIONS
To do the Vince Carter dunk (under the legs) on a break away, control Stackhouse, Bryant, Carter, Macgrady, or any other good player. Hold Turbo and go up for a dunk. You will make it most of the time.

NBA 2K2 TIPS & TRICKS
Easy three pointers with Allen Iverson
Choose Allen Iverson and go to the left side of the court near the corner. If a defender is checking you, upfake. When he flies away trying to block your shot, shoot the three pointer. The release must be near perfect. After shooting two or three of them, he will become hot.
Get an easy win (Don't use this trick unless you are a loser)
Turn off fouling in the NBA rules section of the options menu. Use the intentional foul to make the other team drop the ball, pick it up, score, and repeat as needed.
Turn off fouls and goaltending then just keep blocking them and there will be no foul.
Set the difficulty to rookie then steal the ball and keep shooting three pointers.
Super player
Use the trick to get a 100 point player. Make him a small forward, as tall as possible, and 267 pounds. Your player will be able to cross them over or shoot over them without getting packed.
NBA 2K2 UNLOCKABLES
Unlock Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Bernard King
Go to the active players section and find the 80's All-Stars. The West 80's team will have two players who are not active. They are Bernard King and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Take out any player(s) and trade them in for one or both of them.
Unlock a Legends team in season mode
Go to season mode and edit the season. Take out any team and put in the Legends team.
