Cheat mode:
At the character selection screen, choose LOAD then submit FATHEAD as a name to unlock all cars, tracks, and modes.

Invincibility:
At the character selection screen, choose LOAD then submit CODY as a name.

Pen and ink graphics:
At the character selection screen, choose LOAD then submit PENCILS as a name.

Plastic graphics:
At the character selection screen, choose LOAD then submit FANPLASTIC as a name. At the event selection screen and highlight "Smack Attack". Press Down and choose the "Event Settings" button. Then, choose the "Options" button and choose the "Rendering Modes" button. Change this option to ""Render: Plastic". The message "Current mode: plastic" will appear. Return to the even selection screen, then proceed to choose a level and begin game play. To return to normal, repeat the steps and choose the cartoon renderer at the "Rendering Modes" screen.

Ranged weapons:
At the character selection screen, choose LOAD then submit GUNSMOKE! as a name.

Melee weapons:
At the character selection screen, choose LOAD then submit MELEEDEATH as a name.

Hazard weapons:
At the character selection screen, choose LOAD then submit HAZARDOUS as a name.

Personal weapons:
At the character selection screen, choose LOAD then submit UNIQUEWPNS as a name.

Movement power-ups:
At the character selection screen, choose LOAD then submit MOVEITNOW as a name.

All FMV sequences:
At the character selection screen, choose LOAD then submit MULTIPLEX! as a name.

Brian The Brain and Space world:
At the character selection screen, choose LOAD then submit BRAINSALAD as a name.

Win Smack Attack, Gate Relay, and Flag Relay in all three levels of the Space world.

Count Earl and Transylvania world:
At the character selection screen, choose LOAD then submit EARLSPLACE as a name.

Or, win Smack Attack, Gate Relay, and Flag Relay in all three levels of the Transylvania world.

Whack Angus and Desert world:
At the character selection screen, choose LOAD then submit WHACKLAND as a name.

T. Wrecks and Jungle world:
At the character selection screen, choose LOAD then submit TWRECKSPAD as a name.

Or, win Smack Attack, Gate Relay, and Flag Relay in all three levels of the Jungle world.

Big head mode:
Hold L + R + Up during game play.

Gate Rally mode:
Win once in Smack Attack mode.

Additional FMV sequences:
Finish Smack Attack, Gate Relay, and Flag Relay with each character to unlock additional FMV sequences.
