In the beginning of the game you have your first beginners pokemon. Try catching up to 5 zigzagoon. Zigzagoon has the ability to get some items. Until later in the game,you should try to catch to up to 5 linoone like the zigzagoon. Linoone can get better items when you battling some wild pokemon. The more pokemon you battle the more items you'll gonnna get. (Example: King's rock and PPUP)

To get an Azurill you will need to breed two marills (female and male), but one of the marills has to be holding sea incense.

In order to get Anorith or Lieep, you need to have the Go-Goggles. Go to the desert, then move all the way to the right from the top. You will see two fossils, One contains anorith (the claw fossil) and the other one is Lieep. Anorith evolves into Armaldo, the Pokemon Steven has. Lieep evolves into Cradily, which Steven also has.

This pokemon can be found in the smallest room in Meteor Falls, where you find TM 02.

After you defeat Steven (the champion), go to his house in Mossdeep City. Read the book (Letter) on the table. It says to take the Pokeball. It contains a Beldum, at level 5. It is a Steel/Psychic type that knows Take Down.
