Hidden options:
Insert your coin(s), then hold Left Console + Right Console and press Select to begin your game. A menu with ''Single", "Versus", and "Double'' options will appear.

Left mode:
Press Left(8) at the song or difficulty selection screen.

Right mode:
Press Right(8) at the song or difficulty selection screen.

Mirror mode:
Press Left, Right, Left, Right at the song or difficulty selection screen.

Hidden, sudden, and stealth modes:
Press Up, Down, Up, Down at the song or difficulty selection screen for hidden mode. Repeat this code again for sudden mode. Repeat this code a third time for stealth mode.

Shuffle mode:
Press Left, Right, Up, Down, Right, Left, Down, Up at the song or difficulty selection screen.

Flat mode:
Press Down, Left, Right, Left, Right at the song or difficulty selection screen.
